QuickView:
This function allow you view or play the selected file in the FileList in the "QuickView" window. So you can view the files quickly and decide which ones to be renamed. "QuickView" file types include:

Support windows shell context menu:
· The menu item "BatchRename files..." is added to the windows shell context menu after installation. By selecting some files in your windows explorer, right-click the files and select "BatchRename files" from the context menu, it will open "BatchRename 2" to rename the selected files.

Picture adjustment and editing:
· You can select the "PICADJUST" command to resize your photos to a specific size, and even rotate or flip them with a batch rename rule.

Picture conversion:

Rules builder:
· By selecting or typing rename command in the combo box, you can built up a rename rule flexibly. You can flexibly combine the rename rules including prefix and suffix (include date and digit), replace, remove, insert, uppercase and lowercase. Also, it support MP3 ID3 V1 and V2 Tag format renaming, and can rename pictures with the image properties.

Batch Copy/Move:
· Open a browse dialog, choose or input a path to copy/move the selected files to that path. If the path you entered does not exists, it will be created.

Preview Renaming:
· After you made up the FileList and the RuleList, you may want to preview the result to see whether it meet your goal before you decide to rename them. Yes, "BatchRename" provide you this function.

Undo Renaming:
· After you rename the files, you may want to cancel the the changes, and restore the old filenames. Use this Undo function, "BatchRename" can do it for you.

Load/Save Batch:
· The Filelist, RuleList and the result list even the Undo state can be saved to a file, so you can reuse the rules, review the file list or restore the old filenames by load the batch you saved.

Rename Log:
· After you apply the rule, you will see the result in the result list, by clicking the "Save log" button, a log file will be automatically generated, it record the detail date time and the result list.
